Hi! My name is Mrs. Fisher.
This is my second year here at Evergreen. I am so excited to be working in the 4th grade again this year. I have been teaching for 9 years and this will be my third year teaching 4th grade.
I graduated from Hofstra University with my Bachelor Degree in Education. After that, I went to Queens College where I received a Master Degree in Literacy Education. This year I am going to continue on with my education and get a second Master Degree at Long Island University.
I am also a mom to two little girls. My oldest, Laila, just started first grade. My little one, Sadie, will be 2 year old soon. Together we like to sing, dance, run around, and play. We also read a ton of funny books. Next time you are at the library, check out some Mo Willems! He is one of my favorite authors. I love Harry Potter. If any of you have siblings that were in my class last year, you will know how much I love the books. I bet we get to read them together this year!
At school, we will work together to increase our knowledge in math, reading, writing, social studies, and science. I look forward to working with each and every one of you. Teaching is something I have wanted to do since I was in elementary school. I work hard every day to be the best teacher I can be.
I hope you enjoy your year in 4th grade!
